Saturday Sacks provides a bag of food each weekend to 273 students at 13 Columbia County schools during the school year. Golden Harvest provides 100 bags per week and several churches provide the remaining bags. This program is funded by donations from Evans and Grovetown Lions Clubs, Grace Baptist, West Acres Baptist, Harlem Baptist, Landrum’s Florist, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New Passion Community Church, Macedonia of Grovetown, Journey Community Church, DaySpring Church, First Baptist of Augusta and New Heights Community Church.
